Here are a few things we are seeing in today’s market that buyers are doing that is NOT helping them close the deal!

One of the biggest myths is putting in an offer less than you are willing to pay so that you have room for negotiations. If you are wanting to close the deal make your BEST and FINAL offer upfront.

Second biggest buyer myth is that it is safe to waive your inspection. Always ask for a short option period to at least get some sort of inspection so major damages don’t cost you later.

Lastly, asking for the seller to address the entire inspection report. Doing this with resale will end the option period with a termination. The best way is to look at the BIG 5 (roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, A/C and #6 pool structure/pumps if needed).
